High-Risk Personnel Screening Programs

Promotional Testing for Public Safety Personnel
Hilson Research has developed a promotional testing program where candidates can be ranked according to their test results and job-related characteristics. Using the Hilson Job Analysis Questionnaire (HJAQ), administrators will determine the "essential" and "important" characteristics for success on the job under consideration. Then Hilson Research staff will provide normative data on the applicants for promotion after they have been tested and will help the agency select the best candidates for the job. Fitness for Duty Testing
When an employee in the public safety field has demonstrated specific job adjustment difficulties, or a serious incident has occurred, a "Fitness-for-Duty" evaluation may be ordered (FFDE). The Hilson Career Satisfaction Index (HCSI) is the main test used for this purpose. Three additional tests are added to the comprehensive Hilson Research FFDE and include the Hilson Life Adjustment Profile (HLAP), Hilson Management Inventory (HMI) & Hilson Background Investigation Inventory (HBI-R).
